 Teresa Gordon is the secret marketing and organizational weapon behind many of the most successful REO brokers in the industry who blows away her competitors in every division of the real estate world.
In the years prior to becoming an agent Teresa tried her hand at several different professions such as sales, retail, and security specialties. However, being a single mother and working a 40 hour a week job didn't afford her the time or financial freedom she desired in order to raise her three boys and in 1994 she made a career choice that changed her life. Teresa viewed real estate as her ticket to personal and financial salvation, dove in, and never looked back.
After experiencing several fruitful years in the traditional housing sector, Teresa knew that she wanted to move on to a different division of the industry that would not only give her more time to spend with family and friends but that would yield greater wealth and financial security. After exploring several opportunities, Teresa found that REO would be the perfect arena and the one that would allow her to achieve all of her personal and professional goals.
Over a ten-year period Teresa worked very hard to become one of the top REO brokers in the nation. At any given time, she manages up to 800 properties which is a remarkable accomplishment. In 2007 alone Teresa earned an astonishing one million in commissions and her empire keeps growing.
When Teresa made her career shift into REO she started off like any other agent. She spent countless hours, days and years learning the ins and outs of the REO industry and invested thousands of dollars for the purpose of educating herself in order for her to become the megastar she is today. One of her proudest moments of her career was being selected to become an elite member of the NRBA, an honor only bestowed upon the top 10% of REO brokers in the country.
Teresa's keen business sense and experience has earned her immeasurable respect and she is recognized as a distinguished leader throughout the real estate community. Lenders and asset managers in the Michigan area, where she is currently based, willfully seek her out to manage all of their foreclosure needs and real estate professionals across the nation rely on her expertise, advice, and training in order to catapult them to the next level of their career.
